sa tadā labdha-tīrtho 'pi na babādhe nirāyudham /
mānayan sa mṛdhe dharmaṃ viṣvaksenaṃ prakopayan //
4. Though he gained an opportunity, he did not strike at the enemy who stood weaponless and he respected the law of the battlefield, kindling the anger of Vishvaksena (Hari).
