saṅgo yaḥ saṃsṛter hetur asatsu vihito 'dhiyā /
sa eva sādhuṣu kṛto niḥsaṅgatvāya kalpate //
55. The association which when formed through ignorance with the wicked leads to Samsara, may (on the other hand) tend towards the severance of all attachments, when formed with the righteous.
