manasaś candramā jāto buddhir buddher girāṃ patiḥ /
ahaṅkāras tato rudraś cittaṃ caityas tato 'bhavat //

61. From the mind was born Chandra (the moon); then Buddhi; and from Buddhi the Lord of speech (Brahma), came forth Ahankara, i. e., Rudra who became chitta; and then (there) arose the Kshetragna.
