prāṇāyāmair dahed doṣān dhāraṇābhiś ca kilbiṣān /
pratyāhāreṇa saṃsargān dhyānenānīśvarān guṇān //

11. He should burn up the evil humours in his body by means of Prānayāmās, his sin by Dharma and his attachment to objects by Pratyahara and the qualities in him contrary to the Lordly divine nature by means of meditation.
