yo māṃ sarveṣu bhūteṣu santam ātmānam īśvaram /
hitvārcāṃ bhajate mauḍhyād bhasmany eva juhoti saḥ //
22. He who foolishly neglects Me, the Supreme ruler, the Atman present in all beings, and worships an ideal, is really throwing his offerings into ashes.
