dṛḍha-vrataḥ satya-sandho brahmaṇyo vṛddha-sevakaḥ /
śaraṇyaḥ sarva-bhūtānāṃ mānado dīna-vatsalaḥ //

16. He was firm in his vows, true to his promise, devoted to Brahmins and the aged, an asylum to all creatures, and respectful and tender to the afflicted.
