athādīkṣata rājā tu hayamedha-śatena saḥ /
brahmāvarte manoḥ kṣetre yatra prācī sarasvatī //
1. Maitreya said.—Thereafter the king Prithu consecrated himself to enter upon a course of hundred Aśwamedhas in
Brahmāvarta, the land of Manu, where Sarasvati flows towards the east.
