iṣṭvā sa vājapeyena brahmiṣṭhān abhibhūya ca /
bṛhaspati-savaṃ nāma samārebhe kratūttamam //
3. Having performed the sacrifice called the Vājapeya and having disregarded (Isvara as well as) those who are devoted to Brahman, he began to perform the best of sacrifices called the Brihaspati-sava.
