tataḥ sva-bhartuś caraṇāmbujāsavaṃ jagad-guroś cintayatī na cāparam /
dadarśa deho hata-kalmaṣaḥ satī sadyaḥ prajajvāla samādhijāgninā //

27. Contemplating the joy of worshipping the lotus-like feet of her Lord, the Lord of the world, she (the faultless Satī) ceased to see anything else; and her body was at once ablaze with the fire produced by her yogic concentration.
