5.20.18

tathā ghṛtodād bahiḥ krauñcadvīpo dvi-guṇaḥ sva-mānena kṣīrodena parita upakḷpto vṛto yathā kuśadvīpo ghṛtodena yasmin krauñco nāma parvata-rājo dvīpa-nāma-nirvartaka āste //

18. Also beyond the sea of Ghritha there is the Krouncha Dwipa, double in extent and surrounded by the sea of milk equal in extent to itself, just as the Kusadwipa is surrounded by the sea of Ghritha. Here is a great mountain called Krouncha, whence the Dwipa takes its name.
