4. Manikuta, Vajrakuta, Indrasena, Jyotishman, *Hiranyashtiva, and Meghamala, these seven are the mountains that form the boundaries; Aruna, Nrimuna, Angirasi, Savitri, Suprabhata, Hritambhara, and Satyambhara are the great rivers by using whose waters four classes of people called Hamsa, Patanga, Urdhvayana, and Satyanga are free from the effects of Rajas and Tamas, live a thousand years, look beautiful and like them, like the gods, beget without any painful conditions; by means of the Vedic knowledge they offer sacrificial worship to Atman as the glorious One, who is spoken of by all the three Vedas and who is the way to Heaven.
