sarva-jīva-nikāyānāṃ sūrya ātmā dṛg-īśvaraḥ //
46. Of the gods, the lower animals, (birds and beasts), of men and serpents, of creepers and plants, of all kinds of living beings, Surya is the lord enthroned in their eyes.
