na te 'dṛśyanta sañchannāḥ śarajālaiḥ samantataḥ /
puṅkhānupuṅkhapatitairjyotīṃṣīva nabhoghanaiḥ //

24. Covered on all sides with networks of the arrows that fell in volleys, they (the gods) could not be seen like stars hidden by clouds in the sky.
