prāṇāpānau sannirundhyāt pūrakumbhakarecakaiḥ /
yāvan manastyajet kāmān svanāsāgranirīkṣaṇaḥ //
32. He should properly control the breath (Prana and Apana) by the processes of filling, stopping and emptying and fix his eyes on the tip of his nose till the mind should be divested of all passions.
