evamabhyasyataścittaṃ kālenālpīyasā yateḥ /
aniśaṃ tasya nirvāṇaṃ yātyanindhanavahnivat //
34. And the mind of the ascetic, who is thus day and night
given to exercising this control, becomes in a short time peaceful (undisturbed by passions) like fire without fuel (to feed it).
