jñānaṃ cānuyugaṃ brūte hariḥ siddhasvarūpadhṛk /
ṛṣirūpadharaḥ karma yogaṃ yogeśarūpadhṛk //

8. In every yuga Hari appearing as the Siddha imparts Wisdom and in the person of the Rishi teaches Karma and as the master of Yoga shows the method of Yoga.
