niśamya tadvadhaṃ bhrātā hiraṇyakaśipuḥ purā /
hantuṃ bhrātṛhaṇaṃ kruddho jagāma nilayaṃ hareḥ //
7. On hearing of his fall, his brother, Hiranyakasipu, full of rage, went, in days of yore, to the abode of Hari, to kill the slayer of his brother.
