ahīndrasāhasrakaṭhoradṛṅmukha śvāsāgnidhūmāhatavarcaso 'surāḥ /
paulomakāleyabalīlvalādayo davāgnidagdhāḥ saralā ivābhavan //

14. The Asuras headed by Pauloma, Kaleya, Bali, and Ilava had their energy dried up by the fire and smoke that issued from the thousand fearful eyes and nostrils of the great Serpent and looked like Sarala trees burnt up by the forest fire.
