rājyaṃ dehyagrajāyāśu purarāṣṭravivṛddhaye //

15. Santanu was told by brahmins that he, being the younger, unjustly enjoyed the kingdom first; he should soon give it up to the firstborn (eldest brother) for the prosperity of his city and kingdom.
