sā vai sapta samā garbhamabibhran na vyajāyata /
jaghne 'śmanodaraṃ tasyāḥ so 'śmakastena kathyate //
39. She grew seven years in pregnancy, but was not delivered: so he (Vasishta) hit her stomach with a stone and the son (so born) was thereby called Asmaka.
