atha so 'ṣṭamasandhyāyāṃ naṣṭaprāyeṣu rāñjasu /
bhavitā viṣṇuyaśaso nāmnā kalkī jagatpatiḥ //
Thereafter, in the eighth twilight, when kings have practically perished,
the Lord of the universe will be born from Viṣṇuyaśas under the name of Kalkin.
