śvādidaṣṭastu gāyattryā japācchuddho bhavennaraḥ /
dāhyo lokāgninā vipraścāṇḍālādyairhato 'gnimān //

A man bitten by a dog and the like becomes pure by reciting the Gāyatrī. / A brāhmaṇa maintaining the sacred fire, if killed by cāṇḍālas and the like, should be burned with ordinary fire;
