kṣīraiḥ prakṣālya tasyāsthi svāgninā mantrato dahet /
pravāse tu mṛte bhūyaḥ kṛtvā kuśamayaṃ dahet //
having washed his bones with milk, one should burn them with his own sacred fire according to the mantra. / But if he dies while abroad, one should make an effigy of kuśa grass and burn it again.
