yajedbhādrasite nāgānaṣṭau muktiṃ divaṃ vrajet /
dvārasyobhayato lekhyāḥ śrāvaṇe tu site yajet //
One who worships the eight nāgas in the bright fortnight of Bhādrapada attains liberation and goes to heaven.
They should be drawn on both sides of the door, and worshipped in the bright fortnight of Śrāvaṇa.
