strīyuktaḥ śiśire tadvadvasante na divā svapet /
tyajedvarṣāsu svapnādīñcharadindośca raśmayaḥ //
in the cold season, [one should be] united with a woman. Likewise in spring, one should not sleep by day; / in the rainy season, one should give up sleeping [by day] and the like; and in autumn [enjoy] the rays of the moon.
