śrotre baddhvā śaṅkhapuṣpīṃ jvaraṃ mantreṇa vai haret /
oṃ jambhinī stambhinī mohaya sarvavyādhīnme vajreṇa ṭhaḥ ṭhaḥ sarvavyādhīnme vajreṇa phaṭ iti //

Having tied śaṅkhapuṣpī to the ear, one should remove fever with the mantra: / "Om crushing one, paralyzing one, delude all my diseases with the vajra, ṭhaḥ ṭhaḥ, all my diseases with the vajra, phaṭ!"
