bhairava uvāca /
atha cūḍāmaṇiṃ vakṣye śubhāśubhaviśuddhaye /
sūryaṃ devīṃ gaṇaṃ soma smṛtvā tu vilikhennaraḥ //

The glorious Garuḍa Mahāpurāṇa — 199 / Bhairava said: / Now I shall explain the Crest-Jewel [divination] for the ascertainment of the auspicious and inauspicious. / Having remembered Sūrya, the goddess, Gaṇa, and Soma, a man should draw:
