With both hands he should touch the feet, and from the feet upward to the head.
1.22.4
mahāmudrā hi sarveṣāṃ karāṅganyāsamācaret /
tālahastena pṛṣṭhaṃ ca astramantreṇa śodhayet //
Indeed, the great mudrā of all; he should perform the placement on hands and limbs;
and with the palm of his hand he should purify the back with the weapon mantra.
1.22.5
kaniṣṭhāmāditaḥ kṛtvā tarjanyaṅgāni vinyaset /
pūjanaṃ saṃpravakṣyāmi karṇikāyāṃ tdṛdambuje //
Starting with the little finger, he should place the limbs up to the index finger;
I shall fully explain the worship in the pericarp of that heart lotus.

āvāhanaṃ sthāpanaṃ ca pādyamarghyaṃ hṛdārpayet //

ācāmaṃ snapanaṃ pūjāmekādhāraṇatulyakam? /
agnikāryavidhiṃ vakṣye astreṇollekhanaṃ caret //
One should perform sipping water, bathing, and worship equally in a single receptacle. / I shall explain the procedure for the fire rites: one should make the furrow lines with the weapon mantra.
1.22.8
varṃmaṇābhyukṣaṇaṃ kāryaṃ śaktinyāsaṃ hṛdā caret /
tdṛdi vā śaktigarte ca prakṣipejjātavedasam //
