sūtāyāṃ māsatulyāśca caturthe 'hni rajasvalā //
their purification is in three nights; in miscarriage, by three nights; / for a woman who has given birth, [the days of impurity] equal [the months of gestation]; and a menstruating woman [becomes pure] on the fourth day.
