catvāriṃśāṣṭabiścaiva bhittīnāṃ kalpanā bhavet //
it should be four-cornered, with doors [occupying] four [squares] according to the number of the Ādityas (twelve);
and forty-eight [squares] should form the arrangement of the walls.
