ūrdhvakṣetrasamā jaṅghā jaṅghārdhadviguṇaṃ bhavet /
garbhavistāravistīrṇaḥ śukāṅghriśca vidhīyate //
The vertical wall-base is equal to the upper field; [the height] should be twice half the wall-base.
And the pediment is prescribed as wide as the width of the sanctum.
