ekamapi yasya śṛṅgaṃ vidalitamavalokyate viśīrṇaṃ vā /
guṇavadapi tanna dhāryaṃ vajraṃ śreyo 'rthibhirbhavane //

If even a single point of a diamond is seen to be split or chipped,
even if it has [other] good qualities, it must not be kept in the house by those seeking well-being.
