kecittaṃ pretamevāhuryathā kalpavido budhāḥ /
tadādi tatratatrāpi pretanāmnā pradīyate //

Some call it simply Preta, as the wise who know ritual ordinances say;
from then on, there and elsewhere, it is offered under the name of Preta.
