citāmāropya taṃ pretaṃ hunedājyāhutiṃ tataḥ /
yamāya cāntakāyeti mṛtyave brahmaṇe tathā //
Having placed that deceased person on the funeral pyre, one should then offer an oblation of clarified butter,
saying, "To Yama, to the Finisher, to Death, and to Brahmā!"
