rājovāca /
kathaṃ muktā bhavantīha pretatvāttvaṃ ca te 'pi ca /
kathaṃ cāpi mayā kāryamaurdhvadaihikamātmanaḥ /
vidhinā kena tatkāryaṃ sarvametadvadasva me //

The king said: / “How are they released from the state of a preta here, both you and they? / And how also should I perform the funeral rites for myself? / By what procedure should that be done? Tell me all this.”
