ato hyasūyanti sadā vimūḍhāḥ kalau hi viprāḥ pracurā hi tepi //
Because they expound other, beneficial outward religious duties appropriate to their respective castes, / the deluded ones are always envious here; for such [pseudo-]brahmins are indeed numerous in the Kali age.
