rajaḥ prācuryādrājasānīti ca huḥ śrāvyāṇi naitāni mumukṣubhiḥ sadā /
teṣāṃ madhye sāttvikāṃśāśca saṃti teṣāṃ śrutergāruḍīyaṃ phalaṃ ca //
Because of the abundance of rajas, they are called rājasika; they should never be heard by seekers of liberation. / Yet within them are sāttvika portions; from hearing them, the reward is [equal to a part of] the Garuḍa.
