śrāvyāṇi naitāni manuṣyaloke tattvecchubhistāmasānītyato hi /
teṣu sthitāḥ sāttvikāṃśā munīndrāsteṣāṃ śrutirgāruḍaikāṅghritulyā //
These are not to be heard in the mortal world by those desiring truth, because they are tāmasika. / The sāttvika portions situated in them, O lords of sages—hearing them equals one-fourth of the Garuḍa.
