iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpurāṇe uttarakhaṇḍe tṛtīyāṃśe brahmakāṇḍe lakṣmaṇāvivāhahetunirūpaṇaṃ nāma dvāviṃśodhyāyaḥ

Thus ends the twenty-second chapter, entitled 'Determination of the Cause of the Marriage to Lakṣmaṇā,' in the theological section, the third part of the Uttarakhaṇḍa of the glorious and great Garuḍapurāṇa.
