dīpastaṃbhaḥ kutra palāyitobhūdato mūlaṃ viṣṇupādaṃ bhajasva /
lakṣmīdine pūjayitvā ca lakṣmīṃ sūtraṃ tasyāḥ svagale dhāraya tvam //
where has the lamp-pillar fled? Therefore, worship the root, the feet of Viṣṇu! / Having worshipped Lakṣmī on Lakṣmī's day, wear her cord around your neck.
