mantrānaṣṭa mahāvīndra devo dyotayate yataḥ /
mantradyumnastato loke ubhāvapyeka eva tu //
Because the god illuminates (dyotayate) the eight mantras, O great king of birds,
therefore he is called Mantradyumna in the world; yet both are indeed one.
