kṛṣṇāvatāre saiva tārā ca vīndra babhūva bhūmau vijayasya patnī /
piśaṅgadeti hyabhidhā syācca tasyāḥ sāmīpyamasyāstvajuṃnaveva cāsīt //
In the Kṛṣṇa incarnation, O king of birds, that same Tārā became on earth the wife of Vijaya [Arjuna];
her name was Piśaṅgadā, and she was always close to Arjuna.
