utpādayitvā babhruvāhaṃ ca putraṃ tasyāṃ tyaktvā hyarjuno vai mahātmā /
ataścobhe vāracitrāṅgade ca śacīrūpe nātra vivāryamasti //
Having begotten a son, Babhruvāhana, upon her, the great-souled Arjuna left her;
therefore both Vārā and Citrāṅgadā are forms of Śacī; there is no dispute here.
