tasya snānaṃ vyarthamāhuśca yasmāttasmāttyājyaṃ na dvayoḥ kāryameva /
abhiprāyaṃ hyetamevaṃ khagendra jānīhi tvaṃ prahasyaiva nityam //
They say that his bathing is in vain; therefore, the pursuit of the two must not be practiced. / Grasping this intention thus, O King of Birds, understand it always with a smile.
