garuḍa uvāca /
bhāryādvayaṃ kiṃ vada tvaṃ mamāpi tayoḥ svarūpaṃ kiṃ vada tvaṃ murāre /
tayormadhye grāhyabhāryāṃ vada tvamagrāhyabhāryāṃ cāpi samyagvada tvam //

Garuḍa said: / What are the two wives? Tell me that too, O Murāri, and what is the nature of the two? / Between the two, tell me which wife is to be accepted, and also describe properly which wife is not to be accepted!
