vyavahārarūpā satyatā cetprakṛtyāstadā kathaṃ syādyadanādibhūtā /
anādinityā yadi na syātkhagendra suśūkṣmarūpeṇa na kāraṇaṃ syāt //
If the reality of prakṛti were merely empirical, then how could it be beginningless? / If it were not beginningless and eternal, O King of Birds, it could not be the cause in a subtle form.
