evaṃ dṛṣṭvā tu tattīrthaṃ prayāgaṃ paramaṃ padam
mucyate sarvapāpebhyaḥ śaśāṅka iva rāhuṇā //

Those who do not go to Prayâga are like the living dead, O Yudhiṣṭhira!—25. Those who go to Prayâga, in accordance with the rules laid down, are freed from their sins as the Moon liberates Himself from Râhu.—26.
