There is a banyan tree in the shape of a lotus in Puṣkaradvîpa. The banyan tree has sprung up from the potency of Brahmâ, and is adored by all the Devas; but really its origin is hidden in mystery. Prajâpati Brahmâ resides in Puṣkaradvîpa in company of the Sâdhyas. He is adored by the 33 Devas, along with the Brahmarṣis.—39-40.
