Thus all the great Riṣis and the Devas worship Brahmâ there. Various kinds of jewels are produced in Jambûdvîpa, and circulated therefrom to other dvîpas. The people of these dvîpas, in order of their precedence, excel one another twofold in simplicity, chastity, truthfulness, self-control, health, and long life. In all the sub-divisions of those dvîpas the inhabitants are protected by their own natural learning. They all get their food without any care to obtain it.—41-44.
