tataḥ kṛtvāntare dadyāt patnībhyo 'nnaṃ kuśeṣu saḥ
tadvatpiṇḍādike kuryād āvāhanavisarjanam //
After satisfying the male ancestors, offerings should be made to the female ancestors by means of the kuśa grass, who should also be invoked and dismissed in the same way.—41.
